Chantale Tippett

Chantale Tippett is a Principal Researcher of Innovation Systems in the Innovation Mapping team at Nesta. She contributes to the team’s work on producing timely and relevant maps of innovation ecosystems using new big and open data sources, data science methods, and visualisations.

Prior to joining Nesta, Chantale Tippett was a Senior Analyst and Project Manager at Montreal based science and technology evaluation firm Science-Metrix. There, she led and contributed to a wide variety of research and evaluation projects, including three projects for the European Commission’s DG for Research and Innovation on topics ranging from gender equality to data mining for innovation policy. Chantale Tippett has also worked on several evaluations in global health and international development, including two for the African Development Bank.
Outside of work, Chantale enjoys travelling, photography and playing ice hockey.
